After spending the last six years at Fenway, Mookie Betts has found his home in Los Angeles. It was announced to the media on Wednesday that the Los Angeles Dodgers made a 12-year, $365-million deal with the former Red Sox outfielder.

Betts has risen to the top of not only the MLB's richest contracts. Above him sits Mike Trout with a 12-year, $426-million deal with the LA Angels. Other renowned names on the list include Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (13-year, $330-million), Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (13-year, $325-million), and Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole (9-year, $324-million) to name a few (Cody Benjamin, CBS Sports).

The news of Mookie Betts's contract became public soon after that of the Superbowl LIV VP Patrick Mahomes record-breaking contract. The 24-year-old QB signed for a 10-year, $503-million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
